DAY 1 - Wae Rebo Experience

LABUAN BAJO – DENGE – WAE REBO

08:00 WITA Your journey begins with a pick-up at your hotel or meeting point in Labuan Bajo.
 

We will drive through the beautiful landscapes of western Flores toward Denge Village, the starting point of the trek to Wae Rebo.
 

After a short rest in Denge, you will begin approximately 2 hours of trekking to Wae Rebo, accompanied by a local guide and porter

 

ARRIVAL AT WAE REBO
Upon arrival, you will participate in the traditional welcoming and permission ceremony according to local customs.


You will then enjoy a cup of Wae Rebo coffee and have time to relax, take photographs, and interact with the local community.


In the evening, enjoy a traditional dinner together before spending the night in the traditional Mbaru Niang house.

DAY 2 - Wae Rebo Experience

WAE REBO – DENGE – SPIDER WEB RICE FIELD – LABUAN BAJO

Start your morning with a cup of traditional Wae Rebo coffee.
Enjoy the morning atmosphere, take photographs of the sunrise and village, and interact with the local community. After breakfast, prepare for the return trek to Denge Village.

 

Flexible Departure
There is no fixed departure time from Wae Rebo. You can discuss the departure time with your local guide according to your preference and the conditions of the journey. After reaching Denge, continue the journey by car toward Labuan Bajo.


SPIDER WEB RICE FIELD
On the way back, we will visit the unique Spider Web Rice Field, one of the distinctive agricultural landscapes of Manggarai.

OPTIONAL: TODO TRADITIONAL VILLAGE
If you are interested and time permits, you may also visit Todo Traditional Village. The visit can be arranged directly with our driver without additional transportation charges. Entrance fees to Todo, if applicable, are paid separately by the guests. After the visit, continue the journey back to Labuan Bajo.

The trek from Denge to Wae Rebo takes approximately 2 hours, depending on individual fitness, weather, and trail conditions. Comfortable trekking shoes are highly recommended.
