A Hidden Natural Treasure Near Labuan Bajo

 

Some destinations are beautiful because they are famous. Others are beautiful because they remain hidden.
Rangko Cave is one of those special places.


Our journey to Rangko Cave took us through the coastal landscapes around Labuan Bajo. After reaching the departure point, we continued by boat toward the cave.


As we approached the destination, the atmosphere became quieter. The blue sea, rocky coastline, and surrounding landscape created a sense of adventure.


Inside Rangko Cave, we discovered a natural saltwater pool surrounded by limestone walls. Sunlight entering through the opening of the cave creates a beautiful natural atmosphere.


For us, the journey to Rangko Cave was not simply about visiting a tourist attraction. It was about discovering a different side of Flores—quiet, natural, and peaceful.


It is the kind of place where visitors can slow down, enjoy nature, and appreciate the beauty of the island.
